  • Susannah has been so amazingly brilliant in helping me with my chemistry, she’s such a lovely person and made lessons fun and enjoyable. I struggled with home learning and didn’t manage to finish the course in class, but with Susannah’s help I’m now predicted a B! She’s been absolutely great and I’m looking forward to returning for tutoring after the summer holidays for higher chemistry!   • Dr Fox has been the best maths tutor I’ve ever had and has really helped me boost my confidence and grades in maths. He is very patient and always explains things very well so they’re a lot easier to understand than they are when taught in school! Through his help I’ve managed to boost my predicted maths grade from a C to an A! I would definitely recommend him to anyone struggling with maths and in need of help and a confidence boost!

  • Susannah has been great help, especially during lockdown. Prior, I struggled with the course content but she gave me much more confidence and a deeper understanding of the course. She was well organised and planned the lessons well ahead. 
    She used a variety of approaches including past paper questions to help consolidate work. She would also explain the work in greater detail when I wasn’t understanding it which was very helpful.

    I am predicted an A2 in Chemistry. I am very pleased and glad as I can now go to university.
    Thank you so much for all your help over lockdown -couldn’t have done it without you!

  •  I love having Mrs. Ward as a teacher - she always creates a positive learning environment and I get a lot out of her lessons. What I appreciate the most is the effort she puts in to ensure that we understand the material and are comfortable with what we're doing.

  • I have had the pleasure of being taught by Mrs Ward through my GCSE and start of A levels. Thanks, you Mrs Ward I was able to go for being not great at chemistry to obtaining a high level in my GCSE and further then go on to study A level Chemistry. Mrs Ward has really helped me on my journey to becoming a vet by helping me succeed in a subject that I find very difficult.

  • Even though I have only had Mrs Ward as my chemistry teacher for a short time frame I feel as if I have learned the most I ever could in such a short period of time. She always ensures that everyone has understood and has taken in all the information and has really helped me in understanding the concepts I found the most difficult.

Miss. Ward was the only person that got me through GCSE chemistry! Her patience and determination to see her students succeed in unmatched. I was lucky enough to have her as my tutor as well as my teacher and she really supported me and was great when I needed extra help in workshops. I almost took A level chemistry just so I could have her as a teacher! Shes amazing and will stick with you no matter what. I could not think of a better person to be a tutor!

In her two years as my sixth form chemistry teacher and form tutor, Mrs. Ward enabled me to get into my dream university where I graduated with a First. Not only did she help me progress from a consistent B/C student to an A* student, but she also grew my academic and general confidence. Mrs. Ward was a teacher who very clearly respected me and her other students, and managed to make me enthusiastic about learning as a whole - including subjects like maths and physics, which I went on to study at uni. Through her incredibly adaptive teaching style, I learnt more in my two years with Mrs. Ward than I did in all my school years prior. The confidence her teaching instilled in me enabled me to to get my current role in finance. Mrs. Ward truly is a once-in-a-lifetime teacher, and I could not recommend any other teacher more highly. I know I am not alone in saying that whoever Mrs. Ward goes on to tutor next will be immensely lucky.

  • Mrs Ward was the best chemistry teacher I have had. She explains the concepts of chemistry very well so that they are easy to grasp. She is always understanding and ready to help. I am sure that Mrs Ward will transfer these skills in the classroom to online tutoring.

  • Miss Ward has been my chemistry teacher from 2nd form all the way up to sixth form- almost for the entirety of my school years. She is such a kind person who really cares about who she teaches, not just simply teaching me but helping me to understand the things I was learning and wouldn’t give up until I knew it. She explained chemistry in a way that made me love it and become so interested in it, even making organic chemistry seem simple. As well as my weekly lessons, she also gave up parts of her free time after school to go over the things I was finding hard, making me feel confident in what I needed to know. Thanks to Miss Ward’s teaching I was able to get a grade 9 in GCSE chemistry. She was one of the main reasons for me choosing to taking chemistry A level and my inspiration for studying it at uni after school. I think you would be lucky to have her as a tutor. Susie offers a wealth of knowledge when teaching and was fantastic at helping me through both my GCSE’s and A Levels. Her patience when explaining was so valuable to me at times when I found the course particularly difficult. Her use of everyday examples throughout the course offered new ways of learning and understanding and her experience with the courses was so helpful when it came to revision and past papers.
