What We Do
We offer a 40 mins online lesson to compliment your school eduction regardless of which exam board you are using. You can book a single, double or repeat lessons to suit your needs and each tutor will chat briefly with you to understand how best to proceed.
Learning Levels
Key Stage 3
Chemistry:At this level, we can cover topics such as Elements, compounds & Mixtures, Water & Solutions, Metals, Natural resources, Atoms and Bonding. Essentially, I can develop your understanding of key terms and new concepts whilst having fun and seeing Chemistry in the real world.
Biology:
Key Stage 4
Chemistry: Now we can look at Chemistry in more details, dividing the course into Physical, Inorganic and Organic topics. Knowledge of key terms and application of understanding play an important part for success at this level.
Biology:
Key Stage 5
Chemistry:This level demands a lot from a pupil: indepth knowledge, creativity, mathematical skills, practical competence and conceptual understanding. All of these skills will be covered in the three disciplines: Physical, Inorganic and Organic Chemistry and pupils will be tutored in retrieving knowledge from across the course.
Biology:
National 5
Chemistry: Initially we take a look at Chemical changes and structures before moving onto Nature’s chemistry and then Chemistry in society. All these topics encompass the key skills and content and access to lots of practice questions.
Biology:
Higher
Chemistry: Application of knowledge and key skills are developed in the Higher course covering topics such as Chemical changes and structures, Nature’s chemistry, Chemistry in Society and Researching Chemistry.
Biology:
Advanced Higher
Chemistry: The Advanced Higher course is delivered through Organic, Inorgnic, Physical and Rearching Chemistry topics and involves conceptual, practical and mathematical skills as well as a firm understanding of Higher Chemistry knowledge and key terms.
